Anyone one watch Synth Britannia

forgot how good Eurythmics were...well, I thought they were...and Annie Lennox.gggrerrrrbroooooowwwwwwwww..foxy
I was taping it until the tape came to the end half-way thru the interview with Alison Moyet :x. After one frantic scramble to find another tape, I was back to taping it again . I've now copied it to DVD -- but there's still a one minute gap during the part about Yazoo.

I really enjoyed this documentary; I thought it was interesting to follow the story that connected Kraftwerk to OMD, the Human League & John Foxx and how that led on to Depeche Mode, Eurythmics and the Pet Shop Boys.

Ah, I like Annie Lennox. Did you hear her on Desert Island Discs?

"If you don't like something, either do something about it or shut up".

Nice. 8)

Well...tbh I think those kind of comments are the preserve of the rich and/or famous...
Harry, you're absolutely right; the rich and/or famous are the rich and/or famous precisely because of that attitude. Council estate dwellers like Chris Evans, Alan Sugar, Duncan Bannatyne and Alexander Amosu said to themselves "Either do something about it or shut up". So they did something about it....

dont worry about it. That was about the third time it was shown on BBC4 friday night in as many months. Keep an eye out in the BBc4 listings.
