The bike hopefully arrives on Tuesday so i can have a closer look, just hoping the frame isn't to big. The gear change cables loom to run down in side the down tube and under the bb shell, or is just my imagination.
Million dollar question - is it the right size? I hope it is as it's a beaut (and way to big for me)

Re:

Hi all, just had an email from a nice gent called Mark over Argos cycles, he confirmed that the bike is one of there's and was built in 1984, now i'am excited :D
Should be able to take a good look at the old girl tonight and give her a good clean and degrease. She wants new cables, bar tape and some new tubs. I'll also do some measuring and have a play with how the bike feels, I have a 531c Panosonic rep that is just boarding on being to big and I think the Argos frame is a nats cock larger.

Re:

Thanks for the comment, she is stunning in the flesh, all the cable routing is internal even for the down tube shifters, i have the nagging thought that the frame is a tad to big. The heart is saying keep it the head says other wise lol.
