1980s Raleigh Maverick

Here is a another Raleigh Maverick that we have just uncovered and soon to be up for sale.

I’ve got a Metropolitan that’s similar to the Maverick

I haven’t seen one of those before,Looks in very good condition, surprising how good these bikes still ride , I just love the way 80s bikes look just simply but eye catching.

Nice work on your Maverick, where did you get those super wide bars from ?

Everything apparent from the seat ,pedals and tyres are as the bike was made , there proper comfortable to ride on long rides

Managed to find this old Maverick and try and restore it back to its former glory , it’s still rides awesome and reminds me of my early days of mountain biking in the 80s . im 50/50 what to do with mine, got some bubbles coming in the paint, im half n half to another strip and rebuild, done it 7 years ago and resprayed the front fork and rechromed the bars, but a bubble coming on the head tube and rear cable hanger
