I shall get myself a set of those spanners! I'd like to do everything myself if possible.

Here are the cleaned up Shimano 600 brakes. However I have today bought the correct arabesque items (along with the arabesque levers) so these will be going into the spares draw!

Not period, but look good with the reflectors removed. I will keep an eye out for period pedals later.

Bottom bracket before and after!

Having got the proper tools the bottom bracket came out nice and easily.

Here it is as removed...

And here after about an hours work!

Oh, and I also now have a good arabesque rear deraileur, also cleaned and polished.

Lovely, lovely brake levers!

They are in good condition, but the main reason I am so happy is that I now have everything required!

Frame is at the painters and next weekend the final rebuild begins. (And possibly finishes! )
