How well did the chrome fork crown polish up? the frame is looking pretty good.

Frame is good, the fork crown has some deep rust elements on it - so while it polished up well where there is still some chrome, it has some missing... I have a couple of plans on this bit which I am going to try!

I did too, and I had a strong inclination to repaint it similar metallic green, but I've done two green bikes lately and I was a bit greened off
Plus I liked the 'Ice blue' Colnagos I've seen with the Yellow and black decals - so that's what I'm aiming to recreate .

Plus, I restored the saddle and it seems to have come up quite nicely!!

Some more progress on this one, which has been slow. But, clear coated the frame today, which is always a happy event as it means that the frame restoration is done... Just need to leave for a couple of weeks to cure properly now. Which is just as well as I have some parts to cleanup and the wheels to rebuild

It's metallic Ice Blue, which is not the original colour obviously -but I like it !
