I have for sale an attractive 1970's REG BARNETT 60cm's road bike equipped with 1st generation Shimano Dura Ace components featuring period drillium brake levers, calipers, cable clips, shifters, front/rear mechs, chainset and headset. The silver frame and forks are Reynolds 531 with playing card emblems on the inner fork tangs, most of the Reg Barnett frame builds were attributed to Alec Bird. The wheels are Mavic Open 4 CD laced with S/S spokes to Shimano 600 hubs with new unridden tyres, 7 speed cassette and chain, Rolls saddle and period Campagnolo seatpost finish off what is all in all a very nice handbuilt bike - recently serviced prior to sale. Happy to box and post at cost......

Olympian Reg Barnett was a prolific sprinter on road and track, he turned professional in 1969 for Holdsworth-Campagnolo then Clive Stuart/Falcon and Raleigh finally setting up shop in Anerley SE London selling bespoke lightweight frames and equipment. << http://www.veloveritas.co.uk/2014/10/23 ... ett-oct14/ >>
