Here is a few photos of the wheels that were found with and came with the Sports frame.
They have never been used and as they were found alongside the frame it is assumed they went in the loft with it back in approx 1963/64.
Sachs hubs with Van Schothorst made in Holland rims, 27 x 1 1/4 . No tape so have never been used and while have some slight sort of pitting starting they are in great condition, maybe need a re grease but on the jig they are straight as an arrow. Made by the Midlands Wheel Co LTD Birmingham.

No such thing as a silly question. I may not have used them. I must admit I may find it hard to find decent 27 tubs.

Ermmm... maybe not, my old Fiamme rims weren’t 1-1/4”....Sorry :facepalm:

I wonder if a 700 x 27 would fit?

Ps just checking.... when you say Tubs, you do mean tubular? It’s not clear from the photos

Yes mate, I was meaning tubular
It's maybe a term more used in the colonies, me being a foreigner and all
I will check tonight and see if they fit.
