17" STEEL KONA - MID 90'S- ANY CONDITION PLS.

Mike- I reckon if you are going to spend all that time & money on it you might as well get an Explosif or Kilauea- they tend to sell for not too much more than Cinder Cones etc.

The basic plan is to swap over all the parts from my Cinder Cone (see link in my sig) over to a smaller and hopefully better steel Kona frame. I'll do some of the conversion myself and send the frame to Shand for the brazing of the disk mount etc.

Been a few good offers so far but I'm most keen on the 98 Explosif right now. 18" is ok but where have all the 17's gone?

I just built up a 17" '91 Lava Dome for a mate, who ended up going with something else, so I was thinking I'd just sell it on ... but ... I really really like it!

About an inch too small for me though, so I'm finding myself massively tempted by that 18" Explosif frame...

I'll have a proper look it at home on a bigger screen and have a think, if you reckon we could be on to something?

Dome's in good general nick but with a lot of small chips in the respray.
