I would like to sell this bike.
I think, I don't need to introduce this bike here for nobody.
All original, except the wheels, and the seat. The seat is a new one, and the wheelset comes from a modern KTM. After all nice wheels, without any issue, but new ones.
The bike has got full Deore XT set, with a Rock Shox Judy XC fork. The frame hasn't got any issues, or dents! Marin lite stem, handlebar, bar ends, bottle cage, Ritchey seatpost, headset.
It's a polished alu frame, with lacquer. The lacquer is 21years old, so a bit cracked. But the important, the frame is perfect!
Everything is good on the bike, just need to sit on, and ride. Shifter, brakes, everything works perfectly.
You can use it in this original condition, or remove the lacquer, polish a bit the frame, lacquer it again, add new decals, anodize the purple parts, ant it can be like a new bike for cheap money.
I plan the same, but I've got a chance to buy my big dream, a Zaskar, so I jump to that project, before I started this.
So, the Retrobike price is 190$, I will advertise it on eBay for 230$ after a few days, if nobody buy here.
The shipping depends on the buyers location, I'm in Hungary. What I know, to UK the shipping is 57$ by courier from house to house.
Feel free to ask anything, and I can make more photos, as well. And about the pictures. I clean the bike with water from well, so the small spots are simple sand, not wear.
You will get, what You see in the pictures, except the pedals, I change it to a Tioga, or an old SPD, as You like.
