13'-10' of Argos's finest mancave.

What are they like from a security point of view? I've always said I would never put my stuff in anything but brick but these are interesting.

.

You could get into it with a tin opener :D But you can't get into my garden unless you climb over the 7ft side gate or walk through the field behind that generally has a v.large bull in it :D
They are superb value for money, 10 year perforation warranty.
Doors are paddlockable on the handles but the handles are plastic :? handy to stop the wind blowing them open but thats about it

Put one of these up a couple of months ago and it took my dad and me 2 days aswell.

I was concerned about damp myself so stuck it on a couple of courses of bricks and layed a floor with a damp proof membrane. Still thinking about insulating it and boarding inside for the damp reasons and to up the security a bit as they're too tin opener friendly.

Not got a lot in there at the moment until I decide what to do. Also a worthwhile addition is the foam running along the roof joists to stop you bumping your head. It's just pipe insulation from B&Q and it holds itself in place.

Oh yeah, I know I'm called Weeman, but those aren't my bikes, honest  .

Slightly OT but ......

Will these sheds be susceptible to a build up of condensation during the colder months?

Yes, unfortunately - you could always line them with Kingspan and then board them out though.

A couple of layers of bubble wrap would do it if you don't want to buy Kingspan.

But really, the most important thing is airflow. I know this to my cost, living as I do in a 19' steel tube. :?

More insulation tips please, my man cave is about to be commissioned :) I have an awful problem with rust as I live next to the sea. Was also thinking of some greenhouse heaters as an added precaution.

I'm probably going to go with one of these cheaper options, just been to B&Q and that Kingspan is a fortune.

Well, if you want a cheaper option you could always get some of these.

2400 x 1200 x 25mm sheets - £85 + VAT for a pack of 24.

Cheap as chips.
