125cc motorbike tuning questions

8) never seen one of them before. Illegal for a learner, but a nice 125.

Another good learner legal 125 is the Honda Varadero. Another big big bike, twin cylinder. Prices start at around £900 in my experience.

The Cagiva is limited to 15 'by default', very easy to remove or add as merely a restrictor on the exhaust. I think I recommended one before on here! :)
Um, that must be the Supercity right? Because derestricting the Mito means cutting away the airbox "Snorkels", re-jetting it, blanking off the torque amplification chamber in the exhaust header and fitting a sprocket with a different number of teeth.

How could fitting a different sprocket be anything to do with de-restricting it?

Dunno, but it's in the workshop manual. It's either a 13 or 14t on the front.

well, back to the original post, I'm getting an 18t front sprocket to replace the 17t standard one and I'll be cleaning out the air filter and putting a couple more psi in the tyres. I won't be tucking my head down. I can't be bothered. £8 total for hopefully a few more mph on a still day. That'll do me for the time being. 8)
