1 X 9 ? setup has anyone tried this

Very smart.. how is the front mech adapted for chain guide use??

Was thinking last night that it shouldn't be too hard to sort a mech....
 
Still got to trim the top-pull off, but simply cut away the rear of the inner cage and all of the outer cage , and set down to bridge across to almost touch the bashring.
Crude but effective :D

My usual geared set-up is a 1X9. I prefer the bash ring aproach.

...and on the inside. Chainwatcher from N-Gear. They are simple, cheap, light, and they work great! 8)
