1" head sets.

Hi guys, just ploughed through one companies list of headsets without much luck. Can anyone recommend a tidy 1" ahead set and a 1" threaded head set that won't break the bank. A head is for the mtb. Threaded is for a roadie. Thanks Lee.

Re:

Campagnolo Record, do 1" A-Head and probably threaded as well. Had one on a MTB, very good, had grease ports for the lower race, wasn't hugely expensive either, even good 2nd hand ones will last for years, just replace the bearings & regrease.

Dia-Compe Aheadset in 1" is also a nice retro number

I've got some 1" Aheadsets, made by Woodmans.
They are referred to as DBS, which is double bearings on the bottom.
A mixture of rollers and ball bearings.
Look them up on google.
I've used them, fantastic!
There is no rush so do check them out.
As far as I am aware I bought the very last of them a few years ago.

Seconded! Ribble Cycles stock both, the threaded ones are still available.
