1 1/8" headtube and 1" fork -> What options?

Hi,

I'm planning to use a 1" fork in a frame with a 1 1/8" headset.

The only good looking way to combine that seems to use the Chris King Devolution headset.

I could also use shims to adjust the head tube to fit a 1" headset. But that does not look too rigid to me.

Are there other reduction headsets (threadless) available? The CK option is quite high priced.

They work fine but there are cheaper versions out there.

I have a NIP set you can have for £8 if I can find it.
