1 1/4" Manitou Three Forks - SOLD

Let me add to this and explain the reason paul has re-advertised the fork for sale..

I was going to trade the fork with paul, and the deal was almost done, but I had second thoughts as I wanted the fork to work fully.. and neither me or paul could say if the spares were available for it.

Paul was very fair with me and explained about the pre-load damper adjusters , but I decided that I could not live with the fact that I may not be able to obtain the replacement parts needed to make it function fully.. :(

For this reason alone the fork has been re-advertised for sale..

I hope this clears up the matter.

Can anyone here tell me if these forks will fit (or be suitable for) an Alpinestars Cro/Al-mega bike, from 1991/1992.

I have said bike, which comes with a 1-1/4 headset, etc. and really just need to know if these would be suitable????

Thanks for any help.

First message from, and my reply to Biker23:

Quote (Biker23):
Is the forks NOS or only the steerer?

Reply: Only the steerer is NOS.

Quote:
is it working(bumping) or not (Biker23)?

Reply: The forks work and the elastomers seem in condition (as per the photo).

Quote (Biker23):
How is the cosmetic condition?

Again, I have included photo's to show this. Aside from a couple of scratches, they are very good.

I believe I answered all the questions asked, but hear nothing for 6 days.

I then agree to swap the forks with Sithlord, Biker23 never asked to buy them.

When he sees they're sold I get this:

what??? WTF ???

I was first in line!!!

When did you sell them?
Did you sell them to SlimJoe?

I expect your answer right away,

THE THING I WOULD LOVE TO DO NOW IS TO DENOUNCE YOU IN THE
FORUM...

sorry, but seen from my perspective this is not ok!

When I tell Biker23 I don't like being sent messages like this and don't want to trade with people like him, I get this:

Dear little Paul,

I am sososo sorry that I may have offended you with
my so called "very mean and so rude message!" :-)

If you can't handle criticism if you behave idiotically,
and YOU DID- PERIOD-
and if you feel "threatened" by such an E-Mail then you might
be better off to change sport to snooker or poker...

BTW: It's not about threatening anybody but you seem to be a wetbag
and a softie. in the early 90's I used to be very active in the bike world and believe me, such whining guys we called "pussies".

Come strong or don't come at all!
If you were strong you could admit your strange behaviour.

Yes 1 1/4" is the correct size for 91/92 alpinestars. Be aware your going a-head system with these, so you'll need a 1 1/4" star nut and a 1 1/4" a-head stem to go with them.

biker23 you wont last long on this forum, folk here do not like your methods

paul has 3626 posts and many pages off positive feedback.
