1 1/4" Fork or Devolution Headset?

Have you had a look on Bikepro? Judys, amps and lawills all came in 1 1/4" too.

Marzocchi forks up to and including the original Z1 were available in 1 1/4" too.

I have a set of XC300 in 1 1/4.

Anyone got any experience of running a Devolution headset?

Any disadvantages? Just seems to be far more fork/stem options for 1 1/8" that I might just go down this route.

Just a quick plea for any any information about running a CK Devolution reducing headset. Very nice peeps at Aspire Velotech recommend them as being as good as a 'proper' Nothreadset, and they open up so many more options for Fork/Stem etc.

Any negative experiences please shout, or I am going to end up with one and you guys will not be able to come back and say 'I told you so'!

Thanks

Ran one on a Yeti for ages. No problems and as you say more fork and stem options 8)

I have one now on the Beast of the East. Works just as well as any King, and installs the exact same way. I would imagine that the fork and the stem have no idea that they are on an oversized frame...

The Syncros stem is still there, this is an older picture from during the build before I swapped out the Specialized Ti.

Cool, that is the way I am going then.

Will order one from Aspire just as soon as my funds increase and I decide whether I want silver or pewter. With most fork crowns being silver, I guess it is the safe option...
