Last chance before eBay!
Inevitably this will result in the frame being available on eBay at an inflated price (got to cover those fees) for the next five years whilst I stubbornly refuse to accept that prices are dropping back down to 2010/2015 levels and that I’m going to make a huge loss on all the stuff I bought during the Retrobike parts bubble of 2020.
The Retrobike parts bubble is now studied in universities alongside the tulip price crash of 1637, the Beanie Baby frenzy of the 1990s and the dot com crash of 2000 as four key examples of what can happen when people ‘buy the hype’.
Many people purchased these things thinking they were investments that would deliver significant future returns, assuming that they would appreciate, mirroring assets like real estate or stocks. However, as the speculative bubble burst, it’s evident that the market had been underpinned by unfounded optimism rather than tangible value, resulting in a swift and inevitable correction that many are finding hard to take.
Even now, 30 year old rear mechs are available on eBay for hundreds of pounds, sitting alongside Princess Diana beanie babies for hundreds of thousands! None will ever be sold and appreciated.
Don’t let this frame (and associated parts) sit on eBay, overpriced and unwanted. Take it…… now…… for just £30 plus shipping.
