£150 hard tail

OK so the budget is limited, but the eyes are large. What can realistically be bought as a decent £150 hard tail? Something to have fun on but which also ticks the 'aesthetically pleasing' box (V's a minimum)?

18" just in case somebody is looking to get rid of a peach for bugger all monies

For that budget try local pick up only on poorly listed ebay listings. Either that or free ads etc. Should be able to find a decent £5-700 bike thats a few years old and a lot of fun.

Build one! I can get you a Black Specialized Hardrock frame for next to nothing (with headset). I've got a few parts you can have and the classifieds will sort the rest. £150 should be no boover

Personally if it was me I would start off just searching locally on Ebay and Gumtree, etc. and pick something up like this...

That is a lot of bike for the money, but haven't you got a Kona Kula as well as a Lava Dome waiting to build up? That covers the frame end of the deal, no?
