So... anybody have an xt u brake around?

It's interesting. The sticker on the seat tube says tange prestige, but that was an 89 steel, in 90 it was tange concept.

So, is that possible I have a1990 that was cataloged to take canti's but is set up like an 89 with u-brake bosses? Or did I just get hosed? Is there a serial number look up for Kona's?

Yeah, I really don't want to screw this up again. So the brake bosses are in different areas of the frame for cantilever and u-brake, right?

Can I use the same levers for the u brake and the canti?

I recently started building up a 1990 Explosif. I purchased some XT cantilevers to put on there. I can’t fit them in the back. The posts are way to big. Posting pictures below of my break bosses, am I missing something?

What’s the difference? Can I use a Tange switchblade?
