And to round this project off I have added some finishing touches like chromed dust caps for the cranks, a couple of cable ties to keep the shark fin secured to the frame and bottle cage bolts. Most of the dust caps I found are usually badly scratched and the little holes tend to get damaged...

I think this frame's condition is going to put a lot off people off, even if it was cheaper, to be honest! Especially for people who would otherwise not balk at spending that kind of money!

It's sacrilege that a nice frame like a 1992 GT Psyclone should be so badly treated, I feel sorry for that frame!😭

Considering I paid a bit more for my Bravado when fully built up with the same tube set, though not fillet brazed of course. My Bravado is in much better condition for it's age and I paid a lot less for the F+F+stem alone. This '92 Psyclone frame is worth a lot less than that in it's current...

On closer inspection it looks to be in a rather sad state, way worse than I initially thought. There's a hole in the head tube and generally not great considering a lot of touch up paint!

Thanks for pointing that out, I hadn't seen that yet. The Price is steep for a frame like that.

I took the Zaskar out for a quick spin around the block to check brake and gear performance, all good so far! Very pleased with how it looks and rides. Only things to add to finish off are bar end plugs, crank bolt covers and bottle cage bolts. Weight wise it feels about the same as my other...

Nearly finished, Got the brakes and gears fitted and set up. Will be taking it for a test ride tomorrow and will hopefully take some photos in day time. I have got to find some crank bolt covers and bottle cage bolts, I thought I had some but I didn't!
