    1993 Trek 7000

I'm pretty sure the stem is original. I'll try to remember to get a decent photo to add here.

    1993 Trek 7000

Yes it's staying purple. It's a nice colour in the sunshine, doesn't look so great in my photo though. It does look a lot better now cleaned and wiped down, the shine has returned.

Need help identifying frame - Bianchi?

From the frame number it's a 1992 frame, most TC prefix bikes on here are Schwinn, but there is also a Ridgeback.

I'm building a Ridgeback 603 for some reason

1994 at a guess from the frame number, it's only the second TC prefix I've seen - the other was this Schwinn Moab also this month - TC40700569 Quite likely from the same factory. https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/5-yard-sale-find-1995-schwinn-moab-17%E2%80%9D.499055/

    1993 Trek 7000

Thanks guys. I found that my wheels have very thick rim tape. Tyres are much easier to fit when the rim tape is off, so I might get some Velox tape and try that instead of the rubber stuff. Failing that, I'm considering getting some different wheels.

    marzocchi bomber model ID?

Brake is an Avid BB7, with a genuine Avid Post mount and Avid rotor. I'm not sure on the fork as it's a bit newer than the Bombers I'm used to seeing. It doesn't look big or beefy enough to my eye to be a 66 though.

Help with identifying a GT serial.

What was the full frame number? All that was visible in the photos was RZ01106 - that looks to be a few digits short.
