Having had both HG70 & HG90 cassettes recently, I can confidently say they are both assembled with the same kind of hex bolts. The top pic looks like it may be some kind of other cassette, or may have had the bolt heads sheared off somehow (maybe some extreme chainsuck into the spokes)...

Definitely - that white fork sticks out like a sore thumb. And by the way, the more anodized components, the better - compliments the ti frame perfectly.

A 100mm fork matching the 100mm setting in the back should make for a nice, snappy efficient ride. When I had mine, I had the rear set to the other setting (127mm) with a 120mm fork & it was perfect for a long-travel trail bike. BB was pretty high, though (14 inches, if I remember correctly).

Re: 1992 Diamond Back Response The seatpost size should be 26.8 - I have a 1991 Apex & Ascent, and they both have the True Temper AVR tubing, have a 28.6 clamp band, and both take the 26.8 seatpost.
