i thought I dated my litespeed!

I thought that at first but could find no evidence beyond the 4- digit frame number. 🤔 The catalogue model inb the 94 catalogue looks a perfect match - although they might have changed nothing for 5 years of production, but that's very unusual. What's your evidence?

Raleigh Randonneur. Optimistically Priced; To Say The Least!

As a shop specialising in steel, touring and functional bikes (as if that should be a speciality🤣, but the boomtime mammal rarely rides for function, and I'm told his pockets are full of loose cash😉) I would price this under 500 with fatter tyres and bar end shifters. Nobody buying a bike...

    Seatposts

The USE titanium posts came in 25.4 with shim supplied to take it to the right overall size. Iirc the thinnest shims were aluminium. The benefit is that the post can supply a little compliance. Additionally, in my orange Vitamin T frame and most others, the internal seatpost surface is...

I'd expect better bottle cages on a used bike at that price. Oh, and discs and STIs😉

    Seatposts

Use a long shim, preferably 100mm min. The short shims break frames, especially if they have an elevated seattube. USE plastic shims are forgiving. You want a tight fit along the length

Wanted 1" ahead disc rigid fork

I think a steel fork with curved blades would look best, also hoping to keep the price at the lower end, but thank you for the consideration

How much is my road bike (or parts of) worth?

It's the sort of thing best put on an ebay auction. It's an unlikely part to fake, as there are multiple materials and technologies involved. An eBay user will advise if they look like a copy. As New condition toestraps could easily be very desirable, and the 50th anniversary kit is a focus...

    Sprint rim brand

It's not an uncommon name I don't think it would have anything to do with stickers on super champion sprints in Europe.
