I think the two bikes you have already purchased are more suitable and much better. Spend your money on them 😀

@vtwinvince - Crescent used Merckx frames from around 1986. He supplied them frames made with various tubesets and Crescent badged them up. I don't know how long this went on for, or how many EM frames they branded. Maybe until 1990?

XTR M950 Hubs with Mavic X618 Ceramic

A great rim the X618. Tough enough for light XC and not lardy.

    Mystery bike. Trying to identify.

Land a big jump on that and you could push the earth out of its orbit! Joking aside....i bet it is infinitely better than the awful looking cr@p with backwards fitted forks, mag wheels and no-name components being pumped out of China , these days. Throw a few inexpensive yet better quality...

    Empella Pista Road Bike

That is a track frame that i reckon was sold out of his shop which is why his name is on it. The shop might be able to help you out if you got in touch with them. https://wimdevosfietsen.nl/contact/

    1995 Litespeed Obed

I had my eye on that. It was a good buy. I did try and find out more info about those Thorn forks without any luck. Like rake, how much they weigh etc

Change rims from 26 inch to 27 inch

36 for really big bikes for super tall people. 32 just because.

    11 speed chains

One of if not the biggest fake business in cycling is chains. It is an item that i buy from trusted sources as lightly used and if new always from a well known real bike shop. Only have experience with KMC 11-el and 11-sl, Sram Red, and a YBN SLA 110 ti nitride gold thing. I snapped the latter...

Chris Boardman TRISpoke Carbon Fibre Rim

I think 650c is a popular size for wheelchairs and disability racing tricycles. There are still plenty of Time trial bikes around using 650c as a front wheel, too. I would like it if one day that UK time trials will have classes for modern aero TT modern road classic metal road Classic...

    1991 Scott Superlite

Technical term is Colour Fastness. Neon colours are most affected i think but may be wrong on that as a golden rule.

Change rims from 26 inch to 27 inch

There is also 32 inch and 36 inch because we haven't got enough sizes already!!

I would go for the middle option. Seat and umbrella in one 👍. I love watching Olivers Mount vids and one day i really must attend one. This sidecar outfit getting wrestled around is a good one

I missed out on a Clark Kent F12(i think it was an f12 anyway) frame on the bay a couple of years ago. It was badly photo'd, badly described, had a rusty chain dangling from it, some other random cr@ppy parts, and the decals were gone. Could just make out where they had been and it looked ok...

Imlach's Sweaty Hippie Funk Collection, adventure bikes, rusty rats, cruisers and other alt bastardisations of bicyclery

Me too. The proportions are just right, but i think the crank and chainring could be better.

    RBG's Steve Goff M1 Rasta 🫥

The pic of the rolling frame is a great example of the dazzle camouflage effect confusing the shape of the frame
