Aero Garbage Wind Resistant a lie

Why are we talking about this here?

Upgrading from 9 to 10 speed.

Alternate view here - go with friction shifters. If you want new I've heard good things about Rivendell Silver shifters. Otherwise, just get some vintage suntour or shimano XT thumbies.

    2 Yokota Yosemite's in 2 days

Nice. Not a brand we saw here BITD, but I read about them in US magazines.

Any idea what this is? - 1920s Radior

    That looks amazing!

    Bar width

I hate narrow bars and typically mount something modern in the 46cm range on my riders. Nitto noodles typically.

    How accurate are catalogs?

I feel that it was very common for companies to modify spec's throughout the season - that can include components, but might include finish/paint and potentially tubes/frame designs. I'd view the catalogue as the product managers ideal concept for the bike based on his/her perception on...

    Who is right?

Non drive side tends to be easier to remove, so I remove it first. Is the cup bonded on the drive side of the bb?

How about some Tektro 720's? Then you at least get modern pad adjustment. https://www.amazon.ca/BRAKE-CLPR-TEKTRO-CANTI-CR720/dp/B002SG964K

Help me choose the right brakes for my Dawes Galaxy.

I've seen a number of people run the BRAT-50 style on the front and the BRM500 style on the rear to limit heel interference. I've happily used the BRM500 style on my vintage Miyata touring bike quite happily (as an upgrade to the BRAT 50 which were broken), although I'm trying out vbrakes at the...

    To Suspension Fork or Not

I'd stay rigid personally - I have no patience to faff about with a vintage suspension fork. If I was to make it sproingy I'd put a Bomber on it - I love bombers and I think the girth of the lowers would look good with the C'dale. A black one perhaps?

    Marinoni

For years I thought Crammerotti's were Italian bikes, and then someone told me that it was a Vancouver brand! Well, I guess that explains why there are so many on Craigslist here.

Ya, I loved the white ones. Here is the link to my scabby one that came black OE https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/scabby-ritchey-ultra-dirt-drop-build.446415/

    1990 Ritchey Ultra Rescue

Wouldn't surprise me if it has that beautiful pearl white paint under the black rattle can. If rattle canned i would definitely try a gentle stripping agent to see if there was a rescueable OE paint job under neath.

    Marinoni

I've toyed with the idea of picking up a used one many times. Bike looks great. A real iconic Canadian brand.
