Certainly looks like an authentic, but repainted, TET frame to me, although I would guess closer to '94. Will make a great bike when finished! The forks are much later though, and the A to C will be too long for a frame of that age (they actually look more like modern 27.5 forks) so it might be...

The Art Dept / Art Tyler painted many custom paint jobs on Kona frames (usually Explosifs) in the late 80's / early 90's, and also painted for Brodie. They usually have the signature seen on your frame, or the sticker above (and in @raidan73 's thread here).

Very cool! I seem to recall a "Team" Hot (I think a 94/95 bike) in a similar colour (orange to yellow fade) but with out the blue zig-zag. Maybe this is an evolution of those early team colours. As I mentioned I have a Ku needing paint so maybe this is some inspiration for that.

Never seen a '96 rasta flames frame, but @al-onestare 's Hot is the only one I've seen that mixes flames and the 96 decals. And boy does it look good!

This is the closest I've seen to the reverse colourway. Not sure how much I like it, especially the yellow decals on yellow but it might look better with the blue '96 graphics.

Very nice. It looks very much like the '96 catalogue, although there are a few differences in the colour of the flowers, and I believe the catalogue shot is just an image rather than an actual bike. Looks like someone saw it and said "I'll have one of those please!".

The paint scheme discussion on the Ku thread reminded me of this rather "unique" creation, which is apparently the original paint (not mine). I think it is a 16" Teesdale Hot S/N TET 799, so it is a new one for the list (although how do you describe it in the list?). I'm sure there can't be any...

Maybe it was the fatter tubes giving a larger canvas to go wild on! Having said that I have a picture of an old Teesdale Hot with an apparently original paint scheme that was just plain weird. I'll try an root it out and post it on the Hot thread, not sure there is a S/N for it though.

The decals are a work in progress, here you can see the problem (and the unfortunate damage to the bottle cage bosses) of removing the glitter which feels like it is welded on, without affecting the originals. I'd love it if anyone has any suggestions?
