Classic mini project

My first car was a 1968 Morris Mini when I was 16, with sliding windows and a nylon cord to open the doors. . I think it had about 10bhp (rather than 100!) it was 850cc, It had rust all over it and some had replaced the boot floor with a steel roadsign! Anyway, worked three jobs all summer to get the replacement parts from the local scrapyard and a friend of my Dad's welded it up and resprayed it (and showed me how). Drove all over the place in it and loved it... I rolled it eventually, but that's another story. I then had a 1976 1000cc one that had brown velour seats and was a diarrhoea colour .... Still have a soft spot for them...

I had a mini pickup, JUD32K, I leant over to open the bonnet and went through the wing.. It was barely 16 years old at the time, same as me..

My Elgrand is 28 and just starting to need the welders 'bzzzzzzzzzztttt...ttt..t'
