That's nice that, I'm about to rescue a Reynolds 501 Raleigh Panasonic from a certain trip to the dump. Is it just me or did ask the Raleigh's from this era suffer from a particularly shitty paint finish?
Yep it was bad . Sometime during the late 80s or 90s they invested in a new paint shop.
Sadly it did little to change the inevitable.
They really missed a beat with the M tracs mtb range . The Raleigh HB was just not cool enough for some folk .
The bikes were great IMHO. Mine rode really well .

I got one for you guys, first ride, on my 1984 Holland Spec, Raleigh Superbe, im getting better at the videos, but not quite got doen the fancy camera angles yet

servicing your raleigh`s epicyclic gearbox
Just shave it and install a threadlesss BB. Ok, it's a bit butchery but it will sort it at a reasonable budget
