Today's Ride

Just over 30 miles today just north of Northampton, some nice countryside and villages. Started off chilly but soon turned out to be sunny and warm.

The first two photos look almost like the same photo but they’re about 20 miles away from each other!

If anyone wants a lead on a location for “bikes and cannon” let me know……

Still not a cloud in the sky... different route today, 25.5 miles and a bit more up and down. Met a grand total of two cars on the back roads - even when I came to the bit where I cross the main trunk road and follow it for a few hundred yards the traffic miraculously disappeared!

I bought this yesterday. It’s a bit weird…
Rapid rise rear mech takes a bit of getting used to.
Also, the pivot bearings are shot, so it almost feels like it’s got a bit of rear wheel steering. Most unusual as all my bikes are rigid.
Off to google pivot bearings.
