Agree with you here, the blackwalls suit it perfectly. Nice build, though the obvious question is why given you're running XTR, including the shifters, are you not using an 8 speed cassette?

I love these frames so would encourage anyone this fits and who's looking to go for it. Looks like offers being accepted so a real bargain to be had - a lot less than I paid for my two anyway...

That's correct, with the number being the width in mm I believe.

I bought one for $20 from the US and the postage to the UK was about the same. I'm going to be using it on my next build for a bit of fun.

You did @Repacker , thanks again! Yep, it will get ridden but only gentle stuff to be honest, much like my Xizang. I've my GT Avalanche and a soon to begin other Specialized build that will be given the more thorough workouts.

Yep. I've had it since new and it was originally polished just like in the GT catalogue

Thanks. Standard 150mm stem. Any shorter and I'd feel like I was riding a city shopper!
