The red is the original colour, I have two of the beige ones and two black. All the models I have have the white plastic pivots so probably 1960s. Handy page if you want to date them -->> Anlgepoise models

An Anglepoise ( 1227) that I cleaned and rewired to give as a wedding present. The shade was in really good shape but ( for whatever reason) a previous owner ,had enlarged and made a real mess of the bulb holder hole. I think my brass plate bodge up doesn't look too bad. ;)

I Love those Hadrill Horstmann lamps. 👍 Nice clean up, and good work finding one with the glass cover flap still attached I am cleaning and rewiring a couple just now.

Nothing lowly about any Kona in my book, very close to my heart. Raced a few BITD and loved them all. My last Kona was a Cinder Cone given to me by a friend, I then passed it on to another friend, but I know he doesn't use it much now . I might need to ask for it back 🤣 🤣 🤣
