Brabantia on Ercol.

Ercol has gone through the roof lately, though FB, etc. still turns up the odd bargain. All we have left is a coffee table needing repair.

I searched for years for a good set.. then ended up driving down to Bournmouth to collect.. mainly because i wanted elm.. the grain on these is lovely.. beech tops are very bland in comparison

Is that^ a bungalow Matti or have you just had deep snow again ?

Have you refurbished those? I need to sort out this coffee table. Buried right now in storage, but I know it needs the spindles glued, and a light overall restoration.

Nope.. i just give them a wipe over with a damp cloth and a polish with Finney's wax every 12mths

Was that the original colour? I have a very similar anglepoise, given to me when I started working from home, it was old then, back in 1990! It is that very institutional beige colour though and I have often toyed with the idea of respraying it.

The red is the original colour, I have two of the beige ones and two black.
All the models I have have the white plastic pivots so probably 1960s.
