Nuke Proof Logo wanted for restoration

I think it would be great if we could get a pinned thread or something where we could start a repository for these. I am looking for the same for Softride Suspension stems myself.

Zaskar LE - '93 Edition - Build thread

Ideally would like to keep the parts at no more than a couple of years newer from frame build date. With an August 1993 build date, a '95/'96 shock I can live with.

Zaskar LE - '93 Edition - Build thread

Mostly because I'd like something different.... and I have always liked the 80's BMX team Yellow colours. But we shall see. Suspect it is going to go through a few different builds before I finalize. Hell have already decided I think Judy SLs instead of Mag21s.

Zaskar LE - '93 Edition - Build thread

Exactly eh. Paint may be the best solution. Like yourself, will gladly listen to the experts on this one. Worst case if it stays as is, it's not the worst thing in the world. Decal sets seem to be pretty easy to get so next month will order a set (or two).

1 1/8" quill stem options, with removeable faceplate

I believe you could get Control Tech stems from that era with removable faceplates. I own a 1" version I grabbed in '97 that was basically an NOS model.

Zaskar LE - '93 Edition - Build thread

Spent the whole night thinking the bike.... Part of me this morning is of the mindset to rob my Hammer Race for parts to build it up so I can get riding time on it. Still seriously considering the yellow power coating for the frame (attached images for example). My concerns are - I'll need to...

Went to see a $60 Diamondback Topanga

I wanna say (depending on the year) an Apex should be a 27.0 or 27.2 - I'll see if I can get to yanking the post on mine and verifying that for ya this weekend.

Zaskar LE - '93 Edition - Build thread

Back in 1993 while working at Western Cycle in Edmonton AB, I put down a deposit and was working on making payments on a late 1992 build GT Zaskar 18" frame. As will happen, life got in the way, and I had to cash out my funds for the frame for "adult stuff". Honestly I can't remember even what...

    Helping a friend - 1993 GT Zaskar 20"

Well if it is an 18" I more than likely will see if I can snag it for myself. Will make sure I take my tape measure when I go to view it. Thanks for the feedback folks.

91/92 Bontrager OR Race Lite - immaculate again

Damn.... Honestly the single best rim brake pad I ever used. Winter (snow, ice, slush), spring (mud and slush).. off road... pavement (touring, commuting, couriering)... mountain road descents fully loaded to ski-hill summer runs... they always worked. Dare I ask what ya paid for them or were...

    Helping a friend - 1993 GT Zaskar 20"

A buddy of mine here in Victoria has the following: a 20" 1993 GT Zaskar (serial: 08930061). Single owner its whole life. Obviously it is not in the greatest shape, but no cracks on the frame. I will be doing an in person look at it in the next week or so and will grab better pics at that time...

Show us your disc modded retro

Am seriously considering having a mount added to my '91 Kona Explosif as I am planning on having the cable housing stops moved to the top-tube. Figure if it is gonna be at the frame shop, I may as well add the rear disc mount while it is there.
