Good luck Neil, your P7 was a near identical spec as what I was running racing as a yoof... and why does noone make 1.7 tyres anymore? Those lightweight red Ritchey's were probably the best tyres I ever used.

Some funny comments here, thanks all for your encoragement. Will keep at it, started commuting this morning, half hour each way every day, then a ride out in the lanes in the evening. I can see this could become seriously addictive again :D
