    How accurate are catalogs?

A couple of points to note here, catalogues tend to come out quite well in advance of the actual product hitting the market, and they are typically issued with a caveat that specifications are subject to change without notice. Here’s a couple of examples from my stable. 1992 Marin Indian Fire...

    1987 John Slawta Yeti FRO

Looks great. I’d be tempted to ditch all the white stuff and replace them with black to allow the frame to pop a bit more.

    1991 Gt Zaskar

Not sure on your location/currency. Going rate for these seems to be in the £250-£400 range. Seems to be in decent condition on the whole. I'm looking for a set of those tyres, only ever see them on complete bikes

Wanted Shimano 732 733. Chainset, levers, front and rear mech

Technically speaking the XT thumbshifter only ran up to the '89 groupset, it was STI units after that. But you could still buy them for a few more years before they were properly phased out. Groupsets here: '89 https://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/d/15554-2/Shimano89.pdf '90...

Wanted Shimano 732 733. Chainset, levers, front and rear mech

Agreed looks to be a top pull set-up, but there might be a roller down towards the bottom of the seat tube to allow a bottom pull mech to be used. Over to the OP to enlighten us!

BoTM Bike of The Month timetable and suggestions

1995 - 1997 Only. It's been a long while since we've had a winner from the latter part of the category, so it would be nice to have a special devoted to the last 3 years.

Great news. Ebay drops seller charges!

Listed a bunch of items yesterday, no custom postage option showing for me, just simple delivery. I always post via the app, but just checked my postage settings on the desk top version and no mention of custom postage there either. Have set my simple delivery to be via RM only! Apparently I...

1992 Marin Indian Fire Trail - Upgraded!

Brave job tackling it by hand from what I've heard. Shifter pod hangers would have been bought from here or ebay. They don't come up too often.

1992 Marin Indian Fire Trail - Upgraded!

Been doing a loft clearance at my parents and came across on old calendar which me and my mate scribbled race results on. Saturday February 8th 1992 is marked with 'Got Marin!', so that stacks up nicely with my memory of getting the bike early in '92

Great news. Ebay drops seller charges!

I listed a bunch of stuff at the weekend and didn't see the custom postage option, will look more closely next time to see if it's still there for me. The thing that irks me the most at the moment is the buyer protection fee, as it's making it hard for items to be listed at an appealing price...

    Wanted Mountain Biker Magazines 1991

Looking for a few specific Mountain Biker (International?) magazines from 1991. Not sure if the magazine carried the ‘International’ monika at that stage. August, September & October. If you have those available please let me know.
