I was hunting for some suitable rims close to OEM, as it happens these Bontrager BCR2’s turned up with black hubs - I think they are NOS as the rims aren’t worn at all :cool:

Trawling old threads for remedies and looks like this is a process I'll be undertaking soon. All I wanted to do was add some bottle cage bolts to complete a build, but oh no the rivnut had different ideas and decided to start spinning, trapping the bolt with a couple of threads still to go. Urrgghh.

‘tis my garage man cave. There should be space to easily access them and move them about but there simply isn’t, so need to get down to lower numbers again. 3 Dynatechs and a MuddyFox in the last few months were a bit unexpected but I couldn’t say no 🫢

Hard to think of the logic behind putting that kind of price on it. At half of that it may tempt someone who really wants one.

Had a '93 CFM 3 which took a 1"1/8th fork, and currently have a '95 CFM 1 which also takes a 1"1/8th headset. Can't see any reason why a '94 model would be any different. I think the seatpost diameter will be bigger than 27.2mm, I can check mine, but might not be the same for your precise model.

Built it today, in between rain showers and dog walks. Couple of things to tweak, but essentially done - but not ridden yet.
