Errr, check they aren't different on the bike before you return them. Front brake is normally narrower than rear.

alas this is after barracuda got sold. the frame isn't as good as it looks, it's geometry was all wrong for what it was trying to be. by this point you'd find them sold in sports direct or similar. not a completely hateful thing but not for me.

I put a set of these on my FiL Thorn before he transferred to his E-bike. he loved them and they kept him riding for decent chunk of time without the aid of a battery. they are still on there in fact and he's been out a bit on the old girl recently. I suspect what I need to do is build him...

I'd slap an adjustable on there for a month, play around with it till it suits then bin (or sell, or donate to a worthy corse, or put it in the parts bin) it and buy the equivalent fixed stem. this obviously only gets you over the raise bit, but stem length I'd be looking at 90mm or the shortest...

Don't suspect that it won't all be a ruse to get you north of the border @bikeworkshop. Once there you'll be trapped in a sporran by an anger weeeegie waving a spurtle in your face. I've seen it happen, it's not pretty, especially if he hasn't washed his spurtle.

or paint the recess, let dry then use 3000 grit to remove the paint from the surrounding area and polish the original paint back to normal. not Suntour cranks, SR Suntour. they aren't crap manufacturers as such, they have a lot of reasonably nice mid range stuff (I like their top end forks)...

cut the rattley leg off and make it a P1? :) can you see it through the breather hole at the bottom of the leg?
