I think it’s from 1991, as Easton didn’t release their Vari Lite tubing until then, and I have a Manitou review from early 1991 with Doug Bradbury saying he couldn’t get the new, butted Easton tubing. And these were made from 6061 in 1990, according to various MBA test articles.
