well, very cool. Thanks for everyone's help, I think we can call this frame identified. Does anyone have a serial number of a Boss? I would love to check mine against that to see if they are close in number. Thanks again to the forum.

Agreed, but did Alpinestarts make a tig welded aluminum frame in 1993, I don't believe the answer to that question is yes.

The bike is a matt black, aluminum. No decals. Full generation 1 xtr, syncros stem, it came with aerospoke wheels (those were sold before i got the bike), so everything leads to this being a 1993 bike. It looks like a BOSS, except for there is no welded rear brake bridge. I still can't...
