Howdy again everyone. Sadly my old 1993 Specialized Hardrock project didnt come off, just to the guys who donated parts. So sadly that has met its maker. Now Im looking for a old hybrid no longer in use really. Something with 700c wheels and approx 18" frame. Live near Glasgow if that helps...

Re: Well seat post is recently 26mm. So if you have those lieing around plus seat and spare canti breaks that would be more than awesome. Forgetting to actually count the rear gears and the pictures I've got I can't tell if there is 8 or 9 at the back....will have to check when I get home.

The rear end does feel a bit on the heavy side, but if the gears work Im not really intending on changing all that in the short term. Bought the bike as a cheap way to get back on the trails after selling my Carrera Kraken :-(

Well, haven't had a chance to try the gears out yet due to the slightly rusted chain.......the rear derailleur looks a bit on the iffy side.. but being a bit of a n00b its probably normal.

Not only do you have a cool avatar...but I think I may also love you too. Ill let you know the size of the seat post tomorrow(bikes in Garage and its cold outside ha!) But according to the Sheldon Brown website say a 94ish Hard rock seat post is 26mm
