    New Rolls Saddles

Winstanleys have one for 99.99 or perhaps someone on retro bike has got one ?. I stopped using Rolls so cannot compare for you between modern day ones and the originals but they look the same .

    Gazelle Champ or Gisele Chump

This is one of the lower models not champion Mondial quality . If its got mudguard eyes and clearance that might be a bonus , the higher end ones did not . The Mondials are great handling race bikes designed for Dutch criterium racing.

    What Campag chainset is this?

That crankset looks like a first generation chorus which eventually became Athena later on . The PCD of your cranks should be 135pcd . Pro riders would put on a 44 teeth inner ring for Paris-Roubaix ,it being a flatish course and the riders not wanting too much of a jump between big and...

    Colnago '80s Model type?

At first glance looks like a Colnago super from around 1983 . I think Mexico Colnago's were made of lighter tubing so if you know the average weight of this size Colnago super and compare it with the same size Mexico that might tell you what frame you have .

Riding No Handed in London earns you a ticket?

I was in London last year to pick a bike up from South London and ride it back up to kings cross from Balham via Clapham Common . From what I saw cyclists had achieved a critical mass and there was a lot of them about . Multiple cyclists running red lights , a messenger guy falling foul of a...

So many bike sites seem to loathe "retro". Why?

I was out on my clubs "club run " today. which is a lot more like a cafe race . One of the blokes asked when would I be buying a carbon Trek . I replied unless the local bike shop owner Dan gives me a new Trek I will never own one . It's just not my thing . Also I did not like the way Trek...
