Yesterday's ride

My first BMX had the same type of rear brake (and a gyro), and all it was good for was gently slowing down/controlling speed. I was a scrawny kid, but I still managed to break the main cable in an effort to actually stop the bike. Fortunately that was 20+ years ago when even the cool kids had...

Almost ready for the summer to come

I picked up some neo-retro goodness yesterday. 36t, 94mm. bcd, narrow wide, purple ano:

The steering felt a bit weird with the 155mm. stem. So when this 120mm. Ringlé I'd been watching for a few weeks came down to a reasonable price, I decided to grab it. The closest to a side-view I've got of it yet I think this pic from last night's shake-down ride turned out pretty cool

Yesterday's ride took me first to the port near my summer house for one of the fishmonger's awesome fishcakes Then to "my" beach for some solitary relaxy-time

I missed yesterday's retro mtb group ride because I needed to sleep in. But I met up with some of the guys after for a few beers and a chat, and to check out their rides: Then I went to a proper rock concert for the first time in over 1½ year :D
