I always ride with front and rear Crud Catchers even when its dry coz I cannot be bothered keep taking them on and off. Best thing I found lately is this thing made from neoprine that fits on your front suspenion forks and it stops all that spray coming off the front wheel, I now won't ride...

Quick update now running with a set of Hope Hoops rims still 717's changed the tyres to Michelin Wild Grip R bit lighter than the panaracers which I have worn out. Also had to change the DU bushes on the rear shock which I also worn out, ride this bike a lot. Love it.
