Good shout - I'll settle for that - I can now stop looking at it 😆

The sticker on the frame and fork is a minor thing - the thin tubes, unusual lugs, seat-stay cluster, front seat QR, and strange canti-hanger are what I keep going back to. Many things scream cheap & nasty but cheap is usually quite uniform rather than strange.

What is the score with this? It's a bit unusual and I keep going back to look at the ad. What are peoples thoughts?

Just looking on eBay and the only 1" unthreaded RC36 sold in completed items shows a sale price of £270. I know this isn't an exact science, but in terms of model and steerer type etc, is £70 - £100 the right price range? The reason I'm asking is that I've posted them on marketplace at £90 and...

Thanks Mark, yes RC36 😄 The stanchions are unmarked with no signs of wear, which makes sense as the frame they came off is pristine. Cheers, that gives me an idea on value.

I have a set of early type (not Evo etc) Pace RC35 forks with non-threaded 1" steerer which is a decent length of 228mm I tend to have rigid bikes so know very little about these forks or their value Mechanically they seem to be working as they should and they're in great cosmetic condition...

Here's a quick preview - paintwork is pretty much prefect.

Thanks folks - that's all set me away with some good info. The reason I was keen to use those forks is that they both frames are Paul Donohue, but the one with forks is cracked, so it would have made sense do do the old switcheroo. Anyway, I'll look into it further and see how things pan out...
