    Wanted Stronglight 49D (or similar square taper) single speed chainset 170mm/165mm

    Have a 175mm single speed 48t if wanted to swap too. Also have a 170mm double too, and could potentially swap the rings, but they are notoriously difficult to take off, thanks to their rather soft bolts. Unless someone gives me a tip how to remove chainrings from cranks

    Judging by the brake pads position I'm pretty sure it run on 27" wheels and as per the attached advert is listing parts, it confirms that. It is lovely machine and in good condition by the looks too. The chain length (I presume it is a chain in that bag) will confirm if it was run as fixed...

    1954 21" AS Gillott frameset with Ron Copper's punch hole present. Needs painting unless you want to leave it ratty, and as pump pegs were cut off, a bit of handy work with a file would also benefit it's appearance. 53cm seat tube ctc 56cm top tube ctc £50 + postage if needed (Slough based)
