I reckon is just shadow - the whole top engraving is much darker than one below. Either way I think seller would notify about it :)

Are you sure that's not just the way light is of the end of laurel engraving ?

Includes brakes and attachment for braze on shifters and cable guides, looks only resting cups are missing. No idea on their value, £30 posted? Too much?
