Update, I have been riding this product for a full 12 months now and not one puncture, infact on inspection the tyre had a piece of wire and a sharp piece of flint embedded in the tyre that had punctured the tyre but not reached the tube and I was completely unaware, so it really works, now...

Lichfield today

Loving this bike, it was a bargain, I do a 30 mile loop out to Lichfield about 3 times per week, great bike
