Flat but grippy (to the ground) shoes recommendation.

I've been using a pair of Specialized 2FO 1.0's foe a few years now. Flat bottom with a grippy blockish pattern on the bottom. Still holding up well for me. They have newer versions available.

Love the E-Stay Montare. I have the standard Montare and a Fisher CR-7. I do have a E-Stay too though it isn't a Fisher.

Up for bids on a local auction. What can the collective tell me about this bike. Looks to be full XT equipped. Can anyone decode the serial number to find out what size frame? Curious about the size since it does have a stem riser added on to raise handlebars. Seriel number is C229GAC020

Nice looking Fisher. A BIN of $600, Interested in seeing if it sells.....In the link posted there is a Fisher Montare like mine that is also for sale at $600. Watching that one also. The CR moniker is rumored to be Richard Cunningham's initials reversed as an homage to him and the e-stay...

1996? Trek 2300 ZX Carbon Series

Threw a seat on it, aired up the tires, checked the rims for cracks around spokes and found none.Removed the stickers on the top tube and did a quick wipe down. Took it on a quick one mile ride and everything seems to be working fine Need a bar wrap now.

    Forks

    Just to clarify, it's a 1997 GT LTS-5 or does it actually say 500? For a 1997 LTS-5 the fork spec'd would be a RST 381M https://www.bicyclebluebook.com/value-guide/1997%20GT%20LTS-5/?srsltid=AfmBOopqWNYS4QAbn4scMqoDS57CyCnBq-P8NjM7rDBl9Cu31PAckBeS

1985(ish) Mongoose ATB - might be a slow burner!

I had a chrome Mongoose ATB like yours. You mention the biplane fork. I took mine off and replaced it with a Trek DS2 fork. I ended up using the original chrome biplane fork as a floor jack handle...lol
