Removed the reflectors (4) and a few add ons to make it a more comfortable ride.
A few vintage parts. Bar ends, longer Ritchey Pro 150mm stem, flat pedals, rear V-brake booster. Need to find another brake booster for the front.
To save my GT STS, I picked up a cheap rider that I can thrash on and not worry about damage, $40. I think I did well.
I can replace/upgrade as needed.
2008 Trek Series 3 3700 Alpha. All original, unmolested.
Yeah, I was thinking it was a 1987 with the chainstay U-brake. Unfortunately, the seller tried to jack the price up to $75 after saying we had a deal for $50.
He said someone else offered $75 and I could have it at that price....sorry/ No can do for a 30+ year back -up bike. On the hunt again
What are my options for different disc brakes on a GT STS DH?
What would I be looking for? I can't seem to get any brake pressure in the factory Formula brakes.
No major downhill riding. I see a few sets on ebay by Zoom? I believe they would suffice for my type of riding?
I've bled and 99%...
Looking at an inexpensive rider to,...well....ride, while I finish getting my GT ride ready. It would be a street rider. I'm liking the thumb shifters and whitewall tires.
Bar ends and toe clips would be perfect.
I'm guessing very early 80's? Any info? I can't find anything. I'm pretty sure...
Hello...Anyone have a link to anyone manufacturing the travel chips for STS/LTS trunnion mounts?
Seems like someone could machine these from Delrin or brass?
Could these be 3 d printed?
I'm looking for spares..just in case.
