My Kona AA, only original component is the frame! Bought in mid 90s from Sunset Cycles in Cardiff. Most recently used to follow my daughter around Mountain View Bike Park or to the swings
Fork is newer than the frame so looks a little cleaner. Bag includes a spare headset and rear mech hanger which is held on by rear wheel it seems. Could be glued on if needed.

Thanks for this thread, just got a 2006 Explosif frame myself and was wondering exactly the same on fork height. I have a 42cm Carbon Exotic fork on a Kona Kula and really like that. I may go for suspension on the Explosif as enjoying the 26" frames more than the modern 29er I bought a while...
Thanks I found this https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/just-bought-a-2006-kona-explosif-non-suspension-forks-advice-recommendations-please.466317/ now so will remove it

Also bought a mid-2000s Kona Kula since then and built that up 3x9 with Carbon...

Old thread revival alert! So I've bought a Racing Ralph and a Nobby Nic based on this thread and nearly snapped my tyre levers getting the Racing Ralph onto an old Sun DS2-XC rim! Are they easier to mount on modern tubeless rims? 🤞
